Start here: what belongs in Digital Printing

Where to focus first:

• Color management is the whole game. A calibrated monitor, a good ICC profile, and a consistent RIP workflow are what make "what I see" match "what prints." Guessing at color wastes blanks.
• Pretreatment prep can't be rushed. Even application and a proper cure before printing is what stops patchy, dull results on darks. Slow down here and the print gets easier.
• Keep the RIP queue honest. Name files clearly, batch similar substrates, and don't let a mystery job sit in the queue. A tidy queue is a fast queue.
• Cure is non-negotiable. Follow the ink/film cure spec and wash-test before you ship. Most "it faded" complaints are really "it never fully cured."

How to ask a good question: name your printer, ink, RIP, and the substrate, plus your pretreat and cure settings. Post a photo of the result — banding, color shift, patchiness — right on the thread. Digital issues are usually visible, and a picture points us straight at the cause.
