The pricing truths that save shops:

• Know your real cost before you set a price. Blanks, ink, screens/film, labor, and machine time — if you're not counting all of it, your "profit" is an illusion. Cost it, then mark it up.
• Dark garments cost more to print. Charge for it. White underbase, extra flashes, higher reject rates — printing on darks genuinely costs 15-25% more than lights. A lot of shops quietly eat that.
• Quantity breaks should reward behavior, not just volume. Repeat customers, standard colors, and camera-ready art all lower your cost — build pricing tiers that reflect it.
• Rush jobs carry a rush price. A 2-day turn displaces other work and burns out your team. Price it like the disruption it is.
