Start here: what belongs in Vehicle Wraps

This is the board for vehicle wraps and large-format graphics — from measuring a vehicle and printing panels to laminate, install, and the final sign-off. High-ticket work with a steep, rewarding learning curve.

Where to start:

• Measure and template before you print. A bad measurement wastes a whole print run of expensive cast vinyl. Use a real template or measure the vehicle carefully — twice.
• Cast vinyl for compound curves. Calendared vinyl is fine flat, but bumpers, mirrors, and deep body lines need cast film that conforms and stays down.
• Laminate protects the print AND your reputation. UV lamination keeps colors from fading and gives the install its scratch resistance. Don't skip it on an outdoor wrap.
• Prep is the install. Clean, degrease, and let the surface come to a workable temperature. Adhesion problems almost always trace back to surface prep, not the vinyl.

How to ask a good question: name the film + laminate, the vehicle and the panel you're fighting, and the shop/ambient temperature. Post a photo of the trouble spot — lifting edges, bubbling, a tricky recess — right on the thread. Wrap problems are visual; a picture gets you a real answer fast.
